Hey y’all! This is a quick announcement that on May 25th, 2023, I made it safely back to Austin! What in the world! With that being said, there are still a lifetimes worth of stories to be told. In this next week, I will be spamming your inboxes with the blog drafts I couldn’t post, images captured, and handwritten entries that live between the pages of my tattered journals. While I pray you find the work of the Lord’s hand in each post, just know that this platform is giving me the space to process the things I’ve witnessed, learned, and experienced over the course of the past nine months.
Before all that, I want to briefly invite you to look forward with me! This summer I will be participating in a women’s discipleship program in a local correctional facility. I am volunteering with my mom, and a handful of other women of God that have a heart for jail ministry. We are asking for your prayers as we minister to these women, and that the Lord would move in crazy radical ways!! May each individual see the Lord in a new light, and may the bonds of spiritual oppression be broken!
In the fall, I will be enrolled in a semester-long discipleship program in Gainesville, GA. The Center for Global Action (CGA) exists to mobilize my generation to be passionate followers of Jesus who live out their faith whether at home, in the work force, or ministry overseas. Over the course of the five month program, the cirriculum covers teachings, activations, and scriptures that educate students about God, how to lead ourselves, and how to lead others! As you guys may know, I have a lot of big dreams. I believe the Lord intends for me to use what I learn in this program on the college campus this spring, where I will be working towards my nursing degree. I am beyond excited to use the passions the Lord has bestowed me for the greater good of the Kingdom of Heaven! I GET SO HYPED TALKING ABOUT IT!!!
With that in mind, I have to support raise for my admissions into this program, a grand total of $5,950.
